It’s my favourite time of year, the festivities of the Christmas season make me feel all warm and cozy inside. The nights are getting darker, the Christmas movies are on and most of all, the tree is up. It’s definitely time to get this party season in gear and my party ready makeup will certainly ensure that.
With all the Christmas parties around the corner, I love getting all dolled up and sparkling up my makeup. You can easily take your look from day to night with these tips and little beauties. They will certainly be making an appearance or two on my nights out.
Whether you want to take your look from a bold lip to smokey eyes or a golden goddess to a strong winged eyeliner look, let’s take your office look from cute to festive with a few of my favourites.
Yes, it is possible! We can all get carried away with grooming our eyebrows, whether it be to keep up with the latest trends, to just generally going all cray cray with the tweezers when we have too much free time on our hands, resulting in caterpillars that just want to jump off your face.
But it’s OK, we can fix this but it takes some time and definitely some patience and discipline. It’s time to wean yourself off the tweezers and admit tweezer addiction. Let’s go…
I purchased Mario Badescu Whitening Mask about 6 months ago, having stumbled across the brand on the internet. I was really excited to come across Mario Badescu and his products and can say, this mask is one of the best masks I have ever purchased.
One product and it’s reviews that stood was the Mario Badescu Whitening Mask. Now, as the name suggests, you may think this is a skin bleaching mask….it is definitely not that. This product has been specially formulated for those that have uneven skin tones, dullness and discolouration from the sun or old acne scars. As some of you may know, I had a bad bout of acne last year, which is now under control, but I had been left with some awful scars that really got me down. I was constantly looking for new remedies and products but at the same time, I was being very careful with what I was putting on my skin, with the fear of another breakout.
My makeup routine changes throughout the year depending on the season, the condition of my skin and current trends, although with my daily routine, I don’t tend to follow trends as I like to keep my makeup quite neutral and light during the day.
What I usually end up switching up is my foundation. Some of you may know, I used to be a MAC foundation girl for years until about two years ago. I am not sure if my skin just changed, but I found that the foundation just wasn’t sitting right on my skin and almost sliding off before the end of the day. Since changing my foundation brand, I now also like to change up my other products throughout the year. So, let’s get straight into it, that’s what you are here for right?
Oh how I have missed posting on here and I am so glad I am finally getting round to getting back to my little blogging world. My laptop broke, work got crazy, life got crazier, but now I am back and ready to start sharing some exciting things with you.
I have been itching to fill you in on my new acne routine. Hands down, I would say this is probably the most life changing part of my beauty routine. I recently went back to the doctor as I was getting fed up with breakouts that weren’t clearing and each breakout causing me more scaring. I just wasn’t winning. I was a little hesitant as the medications I have used in the past have stopped working as well as some that have caused a lot of irritation to my already sensitive skin.
