My Top 5 Bronzers & Highlighters – Part 1

Fotor0507202911

Anyone that knows me, knows that I am a sucker for bronzers and highlighters.  I love the effect it has on transforming my look and the colour and glow it brings to my complexion. If I am not bronzed and highlighted, then I won’t have a good day.  You don’t have to go overboard with bronzing and highlighting, the last thing you want to look like is an orange glitter ball! Less is more, believe me.  Brace yourself, I got a little excited writing this post as there is so much to say! Here is Part 1 in my Bronzer and Highlighters installment.

Bronzers
1. Chanel Soleil Tan De Soleil
This bronzer is by far my favourite day time bronzer as it is the perfect shade for day time makeup.  It’s not too orange, no sparkle and it has a lovely sheen to it when applied to the skin which actually makes my skin look like I have caught a little bit of the sun.  This is the most natural looking bronzer I have ever bought and will continue to invest in this product.  It is on the pricey side, but in my eyes, completely worth it.  I personally wouldn’t use this as a contour, but perfect for bronzing up your complexion and adding a healthy glow. Purchase Here

Big Hair, Don’t Care!

Beauty. Portrait of beautiful smiling girl.

There is nothing that makes me feel better than having gorgeous hair.  But one thing that makes me feel even better than that, is big voluminous gorgeous hair, who doesn’t right?  I have tried countless products and have gone through phases of loving and hating products but I have finally mastered my perfect big hair routine and here is where I am going to share it with you.

Step 1: Shampoo & Conditioner
Alterna Bamboo Abundance Shampoo and Alterna Bamboo Abundance Conditioner
I have tried so many shampoos and conditioners that claim big voluminous hair, but none have ever stuck or worked with me.  Then I came across the Alterna range.  Firstly, what intrigued me to this line was that they are parabens free.  Parabens are used in a lot of beauty products and I for one, like to avoid products that contain them.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water – Review

refreshing with water

With me having such sensitive, acne prone, anything will break it out skin, I am very very careful with what I use on my face.  My cleanser is probably the most important product I use and I always think twice and read a million reviews before deciding to try a new cleanser.

As some of you know, I only have two cleansers that I trust on my skin.  Bioderma Crealine H20 Cleanser, which is my holy grail and will always be my number one cleanser and secondly, Dr Nick Lowe Anti Blemish Sebum Control Cleanser. Both of these products cleanse my skin thoroughly, reduce redness, calms my sensitive skin and most of all, they don’t break me out.
